AUTUMN 2019 Holiday Camp
A ‘makerspace’ is a place where students can gather to create, invent, tinker, explore and discover, using a variety of tools and materials.
MAKER = Singapore’s premier makerspace for learners from 3 to 16 years old. Our goal is to develop future-proofed skills that will help kids stand out in their adult lives.
We have 3 different camps these September and October holidays:
Kids will learn SCRATCH coding, Problem Solving, Developing Resilience, Expanding Creativity, How to have Fun with Maths. The course runs Scratch Jr and Bee-bot for small kids, Scratch and Python for bigger kids.
Kids will learn coding and robotics with zero screen time and can later progress to a more advanced level, using screens: Coding and Robotics, Algorithmic Thinking, Project Thinking, Logic, Creativity. The course starts with "no screen" coding for all ages, which is beneficial in this screen dominated age. Part of the course runs with WEDO 2.0 for smaller learners and EV3 for bigger kids.
Me, who changed the world!
Kids will learn Circuit Modeling, Inventing, Creativity, Imagination, 3D Modeling, Engineering, Basic Programming, and Making. The course runs with many tools, like 3D pens, Chibitronics, Makey Makey, Squishy Circuit, 3D puzzles, Quibits and others.
All camps runs from 9 AM to 12 noon or 12 noon to 3 PM and we provide snacks for all campers.
Kids will be in small groups of 6 kids with 2 teachers.
